So, it's been a while since I posted anything so figure that I should probably do some updates!!!!!
Well, we have decided that we are going to stick it out here in East TX, C is doing really good with his job, and with work picking up he is due for a raise in the very near future. We hate where we are living so we are in the process of finding a new place, hopefullly in a neighborhood that has other kids, so that Reyenne can make some new friends.
It's official, she is a first grader, around the last couple of weeks of school in Kindergarten they do a test similar to a TAKS test, the first day of the test, the Reading portion, I got an email from the teacher calling an immediate conference, of course that is never good that close to the end of the year. Turns out that Reyenne was doing her test and just decided that she didn't want to anymore, and scored lower on the second test than the first, Mrs. Tinkle her teacher called her to her desk asked her the questions she missed and she answered them perfectly, when asked why she didn't do those questions on the test she said I didn't want to so I stopped listening, oh lord, she definitely has a mind of her own and if she doesn't want to do something she flat out won't. Funny thing is she was honest to her teacher about it and said she just DIDN'T FEEL LIKE IT!!!!! So when I met with her and her teacher. I told Mrs. TInkle that I don't want to let her pass Kindergarten and I think that all of her friends should go to first grade without her, Reyenne didn't like that idea and promised that she would really try harder, the next day was the Math part of the test, WOO HOO she only missed 3 questions and the teacher said that they were the tough ones that she missed, so needless to say we were pleased. The following week we received a letter in the mail congratulating us that Reyenne has officially been promoted to the first grade.
So school ended without any other mishaps, and a week after we heard Reyenne in her room crying, C and I looked at each other and went to check on her, she had the scrapbook that her teacher made her of the school year and she was bawling, we asked her what was going on and she looked as us with the saddest face and said, I don't like summer, I miss Mrs. Tinkle and all my friends. LOL poor baby.
Next was Memorial Day weekend. Reyenne no longer dislikes summer, she got to go to her friends house and swim for almost a whole day. So on Sunday 6.5.11 she comes up to me and says mom is today Memorial Day too? I tell her no why and she said because I want don't want to go to daycare until Tuesday, I like having Mondays at home with you and dad. AWWEE........... She can be so sweet at times. I think this was because she was absolutely exhausted from the weekend, Friday she got to sleep over at a friends house for the 1st time, I was a nervous wreck, but we all survived, then a birthday party Saturday evening at the skating rink, she was in bed by 8:30 and slept til 10:30 Sunday, why is it when she wants to sleep in my body alarm goes off at 6:30 =(. Oh well had lots to do cause the family was on their way to come to see us, we went to lunch and then swimming all afternoon, what a wonderful weekend, had a blast!!!!!
So i think that about catches us up, I am a little sad that I will miss the big family reunion next weekend, but I hope to be able to get out to OK very soon to see the family!!!!! To those of you that follow this and are part of the family, we love and miss each and every one of you so much, and I promise to get out there to see you guys ASAP!!!!! I hope you all have a wonderful time and I will be thinkin about you while I am sitting in the AC and you all are sweating your butts off playing some good ole family Softball!!!! LOL
Love you all!!!! D

SO MUCH SO LITTLE
Well, we have made it to March. I can't believe the first two months of 2011 have already flown by. I want to apologize for not keeping up with my blog, had so much going on lately that I haven't had time. So I have some good news.........
We are coming home!!!!! We have all decided and when I say all that is Mommy, Daddy, Reyenne, Brock and Oskie, that we HATE East TX. The people here are so rude and have no manors. The school system here is terrible, and I mean the list goes on and on. We are coming HOME!!!! I think that we are looking to make the move after Reyenne finishes her school year. I am going to put in for a transfer in June hopefully the company I am working for has an opening close to home, that would be our Cleburne office, but I would much rather make the drive from Waxahachie to Cleburne than from Waxahachie to Dallas.
I am trying to make plans for my mom, my son, and my two nieces to make it out on Saturday. Oh how I miss all of them. I can't wait to see Dillan, I can't believe that in less than two months I will have a pre-teen. UGH that just makes me feel so old, one thing i can say is that Dillan is such a great kid, young man, and I couldn't have asked for a better Pre-Teen. Now when Reyenne hits pre-teen, I am sure that will be an entirely different story, lol. I talked to him last night and he said that he is getting better at his guitar so I can't wait to hear him play it. I am so proud of him.
Now on to Reyenne, I cannot believe how much she has grown up this past few months. For the first half of the school year she got into trouble at least 3 out of 4 times a week. The last two weeks, she has had a color card change 2x. This is miraculous, she is really starting to learn how to pay attention and follow directions. Even if she does say I can't wait til school is over it's so boring I don't know why I have to go. LOL she is only in Kindergarten, if she is already dreading it I am scared as to what we have coming in the future.
Well I think that about catches us up! I will write again soon.

MID FEB ALREADY
It has been a very long time since I have posted anything. So much has been going on, so many thoughts going on. Where to begin?
Well C and I have decided that we will never call East TX home, Reyenne has decided that she hates it out here as well. So what to do? We have only been here 1 year hardly enough time to really give anything a chance, right. Wrong, the school district out here bites big tamale's. We know we want here in a better school, and don't get me wrong we know there are good districts out here too, but we just aren't to interested in moving around til we find one, we have decided that Reyenne will go to my Alma Mater!!! Waxahachie!!! So when do we decide to move back? Well that is something we have been kind of talking about, this summer? No got too many things to get in place before we do like we did before and just up and move with nothing in place, so probably 2012! Ok well that has been decided, whew moving on to the next.
We had a wonderful Valentines Day, we surprised Reyenne with a present that got delivered to her school, she was ecstatic. Then there was the party, I cannot believe how well the kids acted, I know when I was in school and we had a party it was pure chaos, so props to Mrs. T for teaching them manners.
After Valentine's party, Reyenne had her first eye appointment! dun dun dun dun!!!!!! Well she is nearsided, 20/40 in the right eye and 20/50 in the left and she has an astigmatism (spelling), ugh my poor baby has to have glasses. Funny thing is, she is super stoked!!! She can't wait til they get here! LOL she is crazy!
Well I guess that is about all for now! I am sure I will have more to update very soon!
Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas with the Family 2010
Well sorry it took me so long to post been super busy.
Last post was about my cousin coming in from Alabama, and waiting on all of the family to get in on Friday. Well Thursday Reyenne and I wrapped all of the presents for everyone, except the obvious HERS. She was so upset cause when it was all said and done, she was looking at everything under the tree and started crying, I asked her what was wrong and she said there is something under there for everyone but me. I guess i wasn't good enough to get presents, not even from my mom and dad. OH LORD here we go we have now hit the oh poor pitiful me. I was mean and told her that we haven't bought any of her presents yet because she was always with us, and I didn't know if we were going to get the chance to buy her anything. MEAN i know she started sobbing hysterically, little did she know we already had everything for her, we just wanted to surprise her with it. The next morning she woke up and all of her presents from us were under the tree too, she was so excited she literally got under the tree and counted and looked gooed and gawed at everything. She said mom you said you didn't get me anything, you are mean for telling me that, but thank you so much for my presents I am soooo excited, keeping her away from the tree was now our new task, thank goodness nana papa and grandma and grandpa would be here soon.
My family got to our house around 11:30 and it was great, they handed Reyenne her gifts and she said I will put these under the tree, came in the house said she couldn't put them under the tree cause of the train, Hah she wasn't fooling anybody, as soon as we turned our backs she was ripping into them. It was the funniest thing I have seen in a long time. She was so excited that everyone was getting here, she told me mom it's officially Christmas. Grandma, mom, and I started in the kitchen, the chicken was done but we still had to do the sides, so mom was working on the eggs, grandma was working on the pie, and I was just running back in forth making sure they had everything they needed. It was so much fun. I peeked into the living room, papa was resting on the Chaise lounge, and grandpa was doing what he does best resting up for a big feast. LOL he loved Chris' recliner. We ate a wonderful lunch and just sat and visited for a while. Oh and I got grandma a digital frame for Christmas and thanks to my wonderful family had loads of pics on it for her already, she loved it. Grandpa got a golf buddy and you would think when he saw that that he had just won the lottery, Chris did a great job picking that out. I took a bunch of pictures but will have to post them at a later time. I think one of my favorite memories of this Christmas is while the women were cleaning up after lunch, I poked my head in the living room and saw Reyenne and Grandpa on the lounge reading together. I will never forget that image for as long as I live.
Later that evening after my family had left and operation reclaim the house, CHris' family came in. OH MY GOODNESS if I thought my house had thrown up presents before it now looked as if the entire neighborhood brought all of their presents with them. It was awesome, we had presents from the front door all the way around the living room. Reyenne and Hayden sat by the tree most of the night showing each other which presents were whose. It was funny. We made cookies for SAnta and made sure to leave out some apples, carrots, cookies, and chocolate milk for him and the reindeer, the kids were starting to drift in and out, santa came and brought lots of goodies for the kids. Hayden was the first kid awake and it was funny trying to explain to a three year old that santa came, so we finally convinced him to go wake Reyenne, it took her a minute then she was all about it. I think the funnest part other than opening the presents was when she realized that Santa drank all of his chocolate milk, she ran through the house to show her daddy. The kids made out like bandits, and loved everything, Santa did a great job as well as nanny, uncle jeff, aunt Tammy and mommy and daddy.
CHRISTMAS WAS A HUGE SUCCESS!!!! AND IT WAS SPENT WITH ALL THE ONES WE LOVE!!!! We called the ones we love that we didn't get to see and said hi and sent loves to each and everyone of them.
NOW BRING ON THE NEW YEAR!!!!!! GOODBYE 2010 AND HELLO 2011

THE FINAL FEW DAYS
Oh my goodness so many things to blog about. To start, when we picked Reyenne up from school on Friday she said MOM Russell is coming tomorrow I am so excited. I don't think she even really remembered who he was but I think she was feeding off of my excitement. She went bizerk (spelling) when I told her he was already on his way to our house, and proceeded to tell me she was going to wait up all night til he got here. I told her it was going to be super late and she said ok well I will lay down for a little while but I will listen for your voices when he gets here and then I am getting up, after laughing for a minute it was agreed upon. (she never woke we made sure to be super quiet) Well my cousin made it in around 2 am, I am not going to lie, after so long of having a bedtime of around 9 or 9:30, by 10 I was dozing in and out. He called around 10:30 and told me that I better not be sleeping, lol I told him I'm not and made sure to get off the couch to make sure i didn't start dozing again. He pulled in around 2 am, and we had the best time.
He didn't go to sleep til around 7:30 am and was supposed to be back on the road for OK in about 2 hrs, I felt a little bad, and I didn't get to go to sleep until I think it was around 8 pm. Yeah I pulled an all nighter, can't say I will volunteer for that again for a very long time, but it was so worth it. We got to catch up and then we sat there and reminiced (spelling) about growing up and all the crazy, funny, odd, memories that we each had. He reminded me of the time we went to the Wax museum with grandma in Grand Prairie, I didn't remember this but he was telling me that he remembered the big (I was maybe 7 or 8 so it was big) ford pickup truck that was pretending to run somebody over. He said that I started screaming and ran straight into the wall, I laughed so hard that it was a miracle we didn't have wet couches. LOL
Reyenne woke up at around 7:30 right after he had fallen asleep, she came and sat in my lap and whispered in my ear mommy is that Russell, i chuckled a little and softly whispered back yes that's him but be very quiet he just fell asleep. Around 9:30 I tried to wake him up (that's when he told me to) but he was still sleepy so at about 10 I can hear Reyenne laughing hysterically I walk in the living room and he yells yum yum I have a Reyenne burrito!!! It was so funny, she didn't leave his side until he pulled out of the driveway, poor thing was so sad, she came in the house bawling cause she didn't want him to leave. But he promised her to stop by on his way back to AL to see her again, she seemed content with that.
Now it's only four days til Christmas Eve, all of the shopping is complete except for some odds and ends, Thursday Reyenne and I have the day off so we will get the house completely ready for all the family to come in, first is Nana and Papa and Grandma and Grandpa Engelhardt, we are super excited then later in the day we get to see Nanny, Uncle Jeff, Aunt Tammy, and the one the only HAYDEN!!!! They will be at our house all weekend. Reyenne is going to be so exhausted but it is going to be such a wonderful weekend!!! This will most likely be my last blog for the week so to everyone, We hope that you all have a very Merry Christmas, and God bless us EVERYONE!!!!!!

CHRISTMAS EXCITEMENT!!!!!
Finally the weekend is here. My cousin will be here in about nine hours, we will hang out for a bit then crash for a couple hours have breakfast and he will be gone again. On his way to see the rest of the family. I have to admit I may be a little jealous, but with all the wonderful things that are happening in my life I cannot possibly allow those feelings to slow me down.
Reyenne is sooooo super excited about Christmas this year. Everyday when i get off work she tells me "MOM MOM guess what, only 10 more days, only 9 more days and so forth and so on. I can't believe how excited she is. She has never been this excited before, I am not sure if it is her age or if it was because this has been the first year that I can honestly say with Joy and Excitement that I absolutely cannot wait for Christmas, and that is what is making her so happy about it. In the past I would say i cannot wait for Christmas to be over, but this year is different. I am not really sure what has changed, maybe it's because I am happier with myself and where my life is at this moment, or maybe it's because Reyenne is excited, I cannot put my finger on it and instead of analyzing it I am accepting it and enjoying every exciting thing that is happening in our lives right now.
I hope that this evening when Russell gets here time slows down just a bit so that we can enjoy some time together because i know that he will have to leave to get to OK. Then i hope that the next week just flies by, all the way until Thursday, that is when I have been told I am allowed to start wrapping the presents. Everything is bought just nothing wrapped. Chris told me that I couldn't wrap anything because then I will want to put it under the tree, and if we put it under the tree Brock yeah "The bad One" will get to have more fun with everything than anybody else will. So I agreed not to wrap anything until the 23 but that is as long as I can possibly hold out.
Then Friday Grandma, Grandpa, Mom, and Dad will be here. Maybe I can convince Grandma to spend some time with me in the kitchen, I absolutely love being in the kitchen with her, she has taught me everything i know and then some in the kitchen. I know that they will only be here for a few hours, so I am going to soak up every minute every second i possibly can with them. Then Chris' family will be here around 6 or 7 Christmas Eve, yeah we have a really really busy week ahead, but I can't tell you how anxious I am for it all to be here.
Well I am going to get off of here now, just wanted to express how excited i am for this time of the year!!!! Merry Christmas and God Bless us Everyone!!!!
